Holiday Greetings for our Military Heroes

Pitney Bowes is partnering with the American Red Cross for Holiday Mail For Heroes, delivering greeting cards to service members, veterans and their families. See the Red Cross website for details and for other ways you can honor a soldier during the holiday season. Apparently last year’s Red Cross program to deliver cards to wounded, hospitalized soldiers was a huge hit so this year the program is expanding. The goal is to distribute one million cards. The deadline for the postmark is December 10, so don’t procrastinate!

PS: Be careful of emails circulating that incorrectly advertise a site or program intended to send greetings to servicemen and women. Double-check emails through http://www.snopes.com/.
